SHIRAZ, May 04 (MNA) – The fifteenth day of Ordibehesht in Persian calendar that falls on May 4 in 2010 was designated as Shiraz Day because of its historic and importance that is cultural well as the unique beauty.

Shiraz, given that town of prominent Iranian poets Saadi and Hafez, sufficient reason for a background that is great the real history and culture of the land, has a particular destination among Iranians.

It is probably one of the most historic metropolitan areas in Iran, a city that is spectacular many gardens and historical monuments where hosts lots and lots of tourists yearly.

The breathtaking city of Shiraz, well-known since the town of poetry, the town of orange and bergamot, has been put into the menu of UNESCO globe towns, due to the fact World City of Handicrafts, after evaluations because of the planet Crafts Council.
